The cuisine of La Pignata 2.Zero is a regional cuisine rooted in the local peasant tradition. Made of simple ingredients (often only offal or entrails) and humble dishes, it is above all a cuisine rich in aromas and flavors.
The Ariano Irpino culinary tradition is influenced by various traditions, ranging from Campania, typically Irpinia, to Puglia (since Ariano Irpino is a border town), and finally to Abruzzo and Molise due to the transhumance (transhumance), which make it simple yet highly varied. The research into traditional dishes and the chefs' mastery in reinterpreting them have brought La Pignata to the pinnacle of Irpinia's cuisine. The menus offered are based on seasonal products sourced daily and may vary throughout the year. It is therefore advisable to choose from our Tasting Menus to fully appreciate the quality of the cuisine we present. Equally important is always to ask our staff for advice regarding the menu, as it is prepared daily and is subject to change.
